- Read a wonderful and inspiring book, "Love is a Mixtape" by Rob Sheffield
- There were equal parts delight and misery in the past week. However there were a couple of things, that happened on the good side that I can't talk about yet. Part because I don't want to jinx them and part because they aren't final yet.
- I am going to see Tom Petty and Bush in concert. The Bush show will be double amazing since Filter is opening. Both are treats for my upcoming birthday.
- There's buzz that A Perfect Circle will be putting out a new album. This is news unparalleled by all other news.
- Listen to "#41" by Dave Matthews Band. Preferably live. I love how songs like this and many other slower ones from DMB just make you feel like you are comfortably drowning in all of life's pleasures.
- Oh and listen to Phoenix when you are in need of a pick-me-up. Listen to Florence & the Machine. You don't need a reason.
